Master Jade Hwang, A-7-12, born …… she formally started her training around the age of 5 years old but spent many
hours at the Taekwon-Do school pretty much from the day she was born. Although her father was Grand Master
Hwang, Master Jade Hwang instructor growing up was Master William Oulundsen as well as her father who as she
states “he would teach her at home, at the bus stop, in the parking lot, and at the airport. It did not matter when and
where they were, he was always teaching.”
Master Jade Hwang began accompanying Grand Master Hwang at international
seminars when she was 11 years old. She represented the USA at several ITF
World Championships and in 2015 was the first female inducted into the Korean
Martial Arts Hall of Fame. She has a Masters of Science in Sports Management
from Drexel University and has worked with several professional sports
franchises and athletes from around the world.
Master Hwang served as Secretary General of the organization from 2013-2017
before being named Executive Director.
Master Jade Hwang is a VII dan black belt and served as Secretary General from
2013-2017 before being named the Executive Director of Unified Taekwon-Do
founded by Grand Master K.S.Hwang K-9-1.
